The universe is power. So are you.

God is not fragile, and neither are you. Don’t treat yourself with kid gloves. Weakness is a mental construct that doesn’t exist in the spiritual realm. It’s only possible at the gutter levels of consciousness that vices create. Those valleys you allow self-sabotage to inflate and distort.

At the spirit level, you are a pure creative life force—power incarnate. A true weakness of spirit is an impossibility because you are that from which you come. Two trillion galaxies. Reorient your consciousness to a higher power. The universe will connect you to a supply pump.

Your identification with weakness is your ego. The ego is the drunk guy at the bar, obnoxious and demanding attention. He doesn’t realize he’s half-blind and drunk while claiming superiority. Someone higher in conscious awareness takes him out with ease. Stand up to your ego, and it will black out.

It takes enormous mental energy to fight the flow of life. When you feel a swift current on a river, it’s exhilarating. You let it move you along a route only the current can know. But trying to protect yourself by working against the current is terrifying. Your fearful thinking turns something joyful into something dangerous. You drown—not because you were right, and the current was too powerful. You drown because you resist. Make use of your rebellion by resisting your ego, not your life.

When you’re jockeying for positions of safety, that distrust blocks life. Blocks destiny. Instead, learn to steer power. Take decisive action. Be willing to have things go well for you most of the time. Let go of self-pity and the idea that you are not up to life. That it is too much for you to handle. The fact is that your design is an exact match to the challenges of your life.

The more you focus on Self, the sicker you feel. Take your finger off your emotional pulse. It keeps you weak. Stop the “how am I doing now?” “Okay, what about now?” “Am I still okay?” All this does is add to your preoccupation with the Self. It magnetizes you to short-term, destructive “solutions.”

Change doesn’t need your permission to operate. You go with it, or you let it take you out. There’s no comfy middle. Feeling like you’re losing ground indicates you’re growing a more conscious perspective. In the meantime, allow ideas to crystallize. Allow yourself to breathe. Feel the sun on your face. Show compassion for yourself by settling down about it all. Give life a chance to prove you wrong. Let it take you through seasons. By necessity, your next level is forming on a plane higher than you can now perceive.
