Something wants to eat us all alive. Pleasure, pleasure, pleasure. Everything, everything, everything all at once. We’re out in the void, past where we could’ve turned around. Just a raw nerve satisfying. Correction is needed, but hard to see from this perspective.
Where did it all go wrong? Mistook that cash in the mattress for love. So much pride it built a second home. Untrue, unkind, and unnatural, the cruel, with time, becomes classical. I don’t think I need that anymore. It just will not suffice.
I hope you will know this is a prayer for broken hearted people. It’s a shared struggle that we all go through. Could everyone agree that no one should be left alone? How do you stay grounded alone?
We should stick together. This dream, we’re born inside, feels awful real inside, but it’s all in your mind. I hope you can hear me say, I know you’ll be okay. You make it really easy to love you right back.
Words get in the way but actions follow through. Do it with a broken heart. It serves to suffer. So, slow it down. Don’t waste your time trying to change their minds. Don’t be the weapon they use to harm you. Close the door and change the channel.
God must be with the outcasts. Love must find a way. Big love. The good life is coming.
Clarity can’t be bought. I see you beholden to nothing. You got me on your side now. When you’ve got trouble, I’ve got trouble too. One day, you’ll be with someone.
On this road of twists and turns, all I want is to stay alive. I won’t take no lip from the devil. Said goodbye to the old me. This time I draw my own lines. I would rather take the chances.
It’s been a long way home. I’m in a peaceful place. I don’t wanna talk on no celly. Can’t be held down by this world. I’ve found a deeper well. It’s too real for me to care what they think.
I got grace. I aim true. I’m good and free. I can love and see. I might believe in me. I want to live this kind of life.
