Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons.
All of the colors shining in your face.
November flush and your flannel cure.
A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all’s right with the world.
Summer, I don’t think I’ll miss you much.
The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to shed what no longer serves us.
Grief and loss do not necessarily become more acceptable with time.
We grow in dirt, and it can hurt.
Once you wake up, you just can’t fall back asleep anymore.
This cycle never ends, you have to fall in order to mend.
Hold on to the memories, they will hold on to you.
If you find yourself in great transition and you think perhaps you’ve lost your way…
On the edge and fragile your position, then there’s only one thing I can say – welcome home.
Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be, as a friend.
You know who I am.
I’ll give you a four leaf clover, take all worry out of your mind.
I want to hear you laugh like you really mean it.
Something’s in the air tonight, the sky’s alive with a burning light.
When the sun goes down, can’t you just feel the moonshine?
It is indeed a crime to allow the heart’s energies to dissipate with the fading of light on the horizon.
We should run through the forests.
Gasping at glimpses of gentle true spirit.
You can’t stop us on the road to freedom.
This would be a real good time to hold my hand.
It’s starting to rain.
I love a rainy night, love to hear the thunder, watch the lightening when it lights up the sky.
Where one soft sweet song’s just enough to clear my head.
Nothing’s wrong as far as I can see.
Now when I’m in the dark, I know how to find the spark.
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.
It is a serious thing just to be alive on this fresh morning in this broken world.
Who cares about tomorrow, what more is tomorrow than another day?
So go on and go, and unroll every map.
Go on and see if you can knock off the dust.
Set off alarms. Fall in love with a dreamer.
Be loved like a song you remember even when you’ve changed.
Spirits are using me, larger voices calling.
And it’s worth it, it’s divine.
I thank the lord when I wake for life and love and the golden sky above me.
Don’t worry, I’m going to make it Home.
I’m rested and I’m ready to begin.
Autumn, the prettiest of them all, if you keep leaving me, I’ll keep loving you.
